Caring For Your Wooden Coaster

Thanks for purchasing one of our handcrafted wooden coasters! To keep your coaster in its best condition and protect its pyrography, please follow these simple care guidelines.

About Your Coaster

Each of our coasters features unique pyrography (wood burning) and is finished with OSMO Polyx-oil. This is a highly durable protective finish, similar to what's used on floorboards, making it very resistant to common stains like wine, beer, and cola.

Care Instructions

           Spills: Please wipe up any spills immediately to prevent staining.

• Heat: Your coaster can handle a hot coffee mug, but please avoid placing extremely hot items like saucepans directly on it.

• Cleaning: Don't submerge your coaster in water. A quick clean with a damp cloth, a light antibacterial spray, or a dedicated wood cleaner should be sufficient.

• Pyrography: The pyrography on your coaster can fade over time, especially with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. For best results, try to keep your coaster out of constant sun.

Curing Time

The protective finish applied to your coaster takes 30 days to fully cure. This coaster is fine to use immediately as the finish has had the specified time to cure.We will always let you know if your item has not had time to fully cure and this will contain the 'cure date' with the product.
