Shipping & Delivery
At The Rustic Tree, we want to make sure your unique creations arrive safely and swiftly. Here's everything you need to know about how we ship our items.
Where We Ship
We currently ship all our creations within the UK only.
Shipping Methods & Costs
We ship all our creations via Royal Mail. Once your item has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number (where applicable). Please allow some time for the tracking information to update on the Royal Mail website.
We offer the following shipping options:

Royal Mail Tracked 48: £4.50
- This service provides tracking for your peace of mind.
- Free Shipping: All orders over £75 qualify for free shipping and will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
While delivery times are specified at checkout, please note that The Rustic Tree isn't responsible for delays caused by the carrier. We work with reputable carriers and expect them to adhere to their own guidelines.
Processing & Delivery Times
- Website Items: Generally, in-stock items purchased directly from our website are shipped the next working day.
- Commissioned & Personalised Items: Timelines for these unique creations will be clearly specified when you place your order. Please be aware that these timescales may occasionally change due to factors like material availability. If this happens, we'll always inform you and give you the option to cancel your order.
- Untracked Items: If you choose an untracked shipping option (where available) and your item hasn't arrived, please allow up to 10 working days before contacting us.
- Replacement Items: As most of our creations are one-off bespoke pieces, please allow a minimum of 5 working days to dispatch a replacement for a missing or damaged item.
Any delivery dates provided are approximate. The Rustic Tree isn't liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by delivery delays.
Local Pickup Options
We offer free local pickup for your convenience!
- The Crafty Cottage (Orchard Road, St Annes): Orders for in-stock items are typically ready for pickup the next business day. Please wait for your confirmation email before heading over.
- Market Collection: You can also collect your order from one of the markets we attend. Check our Events page for dates and locations. Once you've placed your order, simply email us with your order number and the market you'd like to collect from.
Packaging
We aim to use packaging as economically as possible, prioritizing eco-friendly options and reusing materials where we can. Due to the unique nature of some of our products, we may occasionally use alternative methods or materials to ensure your items reach you in the best possible condition.
Damaged or Lost Items
You are responsible for your item as soon as it's delivered to you.
If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery. Please email us at nicky@therustictree.co.uk with photographs of both the damaged packaging and the damaged item.
Order Cancellations
If, for any reason, we're unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you, and you'll have the right to cancel. The Rustic Tree is not liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by cancelled orders in such circumstances.
